Investing Retreat for Beginner Investors
Our next retreat for beginner investors will be January 15 – 18, 2023. This retreat is for individuals or couples who are new to real estate investing and who want to learn how to invest successfully in real estate.
What you will learn:
- How to find good deals (single family and small multi-family rentals and lease options)
- How to get funding to buy these deals quickly
- How to get the properties fixed up
- How to find tenants for these properties
- How to get long term financing for these properties
- How to manage properties successfully

Retreat Itinerary:
- Arrive Sunday, January 15, 2023. You will be picked up from the airport. Sunday will be a day of getting to know each investor and sharing a delicious, authentic Costa Rica dinner.
- Monday – The morning block will be focused on breaking down the building blocks of real estate investing using the 5 Fs and 1 M of investing. The afternoon will consist of visiting a nearby waterfall and going on a chocolate tour. The evening will consist of more real estate investing training and principles for getting your first few real estate deals. We’ll finish off with enjoying a dinner at sunset.
- Tuesday – Trip to La Fortuna waterfall, Zip-lining, and relaxing at the hot springs at Baldi resort. Real estate training and discussion along the way.
- Wednesday – morning will be finishing up on real estate education in the morning and then saying your good buys in the after noon.
Investing Retreat for Beginner Intermediate Investors
Our next retreat for intermediate investors will be January 19 – 22, 2023. This retreat is for individuals or couples who own between 5 and 25 properties that are ready to scale to the next level.
What you will learn:
- How to build effective systems so that your real estate doesn’t rule your life
- How to get more funding to purchase properties
- How to create partnerships that are mutually beneficial
- How to scale your portfolio
- DSCR and Portfolio loans
- How to capitalize on unfair advantages

Mastermind Retreat for Experienced Investors Session 1
Our next mastermind retreat for experienced investors (investors who have more than 25 rental properties or have done 25 or more flips or other real estate investment deals) will be April 23 – 26, 2023. This retreat is for individuals or couples who are experienced real estate investors and who want to improve their business through networking and developing relationships with other high level, high performing, real estate investors.
What you will experience:
- Each individual or couple will have the opportunity to share with the group about themselves and what they do in business and what their current struggles are that are keeping them from getting to where they want to go in their business.
- Individuals will be able to have organic conversations in a relaxed environment to deepen relationships and share experiences that are mutually beneficial.

- Saturday – Will start with morning yoga at sunrise and massages, then a day of sharing and receiving feedback from investors. That afternoon will include a chocolate farm tour and then dinner back at the property to other shares and take-aways from the mastermind group.
- Sunday – Reminisce and cry as you are dropped off at the airport.
Investor Appreciation Retreat for Lenders and Investors
Over the years we have had several investors lend to us or invest in our real estate investment fund. In order to show our appreciation to our investors and lenders, we have created an an investor appreciation retreat. This retreat is for private money lenders or investors who have lent to us or invested with us $50,000 or more and have enjoyed a 10% return on their money. Starting in 2023, the minimum amount to be invited on this retreat will increase to $100,000.
This retreat will be held August 14 – 19 , 2023 and is reserved specifically for our private money lenders and investors to show appreciation to them for their trust in us in helping us grow our real estate investing companies.
What you will experience:
- High end experiences and excursions to some of the most beautiful areas of Costa Rica.
- Individuals will be able to have organic conversations in a relaxed environment with other investors.
The retreat is limited to between 11 and 22 people because we have 11 bedrooms on the property. Each room will have a queen or king bed that may be used by an individual or couple. Before January of 2023 each person who has lent or invested with us between $50,000 and $100,000 will have one invitation to the retreat and anyone who has lend or invested with us $100,000 or more will have 2 invitations to the retreat. After January 1st, 2023, the lending requirements to be invited on the retreat will be double.
What will the accommodations will include?

- Networking and sharing experiences with other lenders or investors

Individuals or couples who have lent to us or invested with us to the degree mentioned above will be extended the invitation to the treat.

- Arrive Monday, August 14, 2023. You will be picked up from the airport.
- Tuesday – Will be a day of getting to know each other while we travel to Rio Celeste waterfalls and tubing down the river.
- Wednesday – We’ll start with a hike to enjoy the sunrise. Then after breakfast, we’ll visit an animal sanctuary and then spend the afternoon at the beach.
- Thursday – Trip to Monteverde for Horse back riding and zip lining in the cloud forest and then return for dinner and massages at the property.
- Friday – Will start with morning yoga at sunrise and massages for those who missed out the night before. Then we will take a drive to the mineral hot springs and pools.
- Saturday – Reminisce and cry as you are dropped off at the airport.
